Time for another update before ppl suspect me dissapearing again...=P

Alright...I'll continue with the Winterlicious restaurants although WinterCity just ended on thurs but what the hey... =)

Oh, and before I list some restaurants....~HAPPY CHINESE CHICKEN NEW YEAR!!!~ =D Hope u guys "hok yeep jun bo" and "sun tai geen hong" la!!!!! Don't forgot to go "dow" some "lai see" as well! XD

Filet of Sole $10 lunch @ Duncan/King St: Despite the bad service, the food itself was pretty good. The escargot was alright, but it could have been much better if they added cheese with it...so I think this particular chinese restaurant makes it better than this restaurant. The sole was really good though...very fresh and tasted excellect with their sauce and lemon. The boiled potatos as their side was excellent too...not too hard but hard enough to taste fresh and good. The dessert was alright...it was just their homemade vanilla ice-cream with belgian chocolate sauce over it. All in all I think the lunch was worth it.

Cafe California $10 lunch @ Church St: Well, you won't be surprised to see gay waiters working there considering the location of the restaurant, lol. The environment look like an english style chinese reastaurant to me...reminds me of Cafe Hollywood (some english style chinese restaurant in Sauga, yes...SAUGA) somewhat...lol The food was pretty good too though.... However the bruschetta wasn't even authentic...it was toasted garlic bread with the usual stuff over it... -_- It was alright nonetheless but the portion was a bit too small. =\ Well at least they served a variety of good italian bread. The meal itself was unqiue and good. The atlantic salmon was covered in raspberry beurre blanc sauce which made the salmon sweet and slightly sour in a good way... The salmon itself was extrememly fresh and tasty. The boiled potatos as the side cannot compare to Filet of Sole's though. The dessert was pretty good because it was creme brulee! I was surprised they added a variety of fruits on top of the creme brulee but it was good. I think this restaurant was worth its price as well.

BTW, Striphouse it only 1 floor above Filet of Sole eh! =P

Next time I am definitely going to Canoe/Truffles for summerlicious! Must! =P

Alright, I'll update Chinese New Year restaurants later....

Oh yea...one more thing...it seems that ppl don't seem to like the Fly to the Sky song =( So I changed it to Full House OST - I Think I, this is a GOOD song too! Be patient and listen to it!

The Zombie Chicken has awaken from the dead and is back to lurk around xanga.....blurgheew (dunno what nosies zombies make..)

Anyway....several ppl suggested me to turn my xanga page into a "CHOI LAN wan yow sik sai guy" sort of page...lol
So I guess I'll be a "food critic" and give suggestions to u lazy ppl as to where is a good, cheap and reasonable place to eat in downtown toronto =P

Hmm...this week I'll start off with Winterlicious places then since it's Wintercity week ^^ ( I can't believe I missed the Wintercity BBQ...bleh.. )

Joe Badali $20 dinner @ Front St.: I think it's an original italian restaurant? Serves plenty of variety of pasta but the dish was too small...I wasn't full =P The tiramisu there is VERY good tho....but I won't recommend going there just for the hell of it b/c the although the pasta tastes really fresh it wasn't like the best pasta and the I don't think the price was worth it. I think only the tiramisu was worth it ^^

JW Steakhouse $30 dinner @ The Marriott: Like many ppl said...it's one of the best steakhouses out there. The steak was indeed good...but do u know how big the steak was? it was PUNY....like the size of my palm..-_-; It also did not come with any side dishes either...=\ I msut admit that the french onion soup was good tho...it had scallop in it =P The dessert wasn't very good...it was hard and very "low"...I think it was some sorta chocolate cake with bananas... Not very worth the price but the environment was pretty good...

As you can see...I'm going poor now...$60+ of my money has already flew out the window =\
Would someone like to treat me instead? XD hahaha

More Winterlicious + regular restaurants/chill out places coming soon...I'll do it nice and slowly so that u ppl would need to wait...mw ahaha >=)

BTW...my chatterboxed ended up R.I.P.-ed and went to heaven since I haven't come back alive for a while now =(

one more thing...the song playing on my page is Fly To The Sky - Gravity...their newest album ^^ ho ho teng...be patient and listen to it =D

Wow....haven't updated in so long....
Lots have happened....=P

The entire last week was spent shopping everyday (God, I am turning into some shopaholic or something >_< ), roaming around downtown like usual...taking random pictures in the ROM and around T.O. and of the MuchMusic VJs....lol Dinner at Mt. Sinai Restaurant reminds me of frozen food =\ After that, we hit the bars at Peter St. and went crazy....hahaha =P

This week was basically a consecutive slumber party....didn't even feel like school days to me at all.... >_< Everyday felt like a weekend to me...haha so bad... =P Right after the EAS essay was due the party began.... Day 1: Went to York to visit garlic and had a tour around York and chilled at the Cove? Don't remember the actual name and played arcades there....then went to eat and get harassed by a camera at some Greek food and wander around campus...lol Chilled at res for a bit and did a bit of pre-drinking before heading the club @ Underground. Someone sure has low tolerance =P which lead to clumsy-ness....haha j/k Garlic sure knows how to dance tho....eh? hahaha My legs were so tired by the end of the night that I ended up having sore legs the next day >_< Day 2: Came back to T.O. and went crazy and started taking random pictures of our school and of T.O. and went for more crazy shopping. Yay, Eaton's Centre put up all the Chrsitmas decorations already so went crazy with the Christmas picture taking and then went to "may hurn chuuuuurn", lol There was an unexpected hidden 40% sale @ FCUK so went crazy and then ended up late for the movies and couldn't go and ended up shopping even more =_=. The day ended by hitting the bar again...lol Except for the fact that someone had a case of alcohol poison...=| Day 3: Came to Mississauga and gave a tour of the cool places at Miss....haha... Went to Sq. 1, shopped more..then went to watch Alfie (it was boring...too much talking) and then headed to Umi. Went to my house...went crazy with webcam pics and anime...lol and other mo liu stuff and then headed to Demetres later on. They jacked up the prices! -_- But then again they changed the menu and added a lot of different desserts now. They now have Federal Express (Tiramisu cake and a new tiramisu flavoured ice cream)....OMG...it's like the best cake and ice-cream I've ever had.... Went home and pulled an all-nighter watching HK movies =_=; Day 4: Went to yum cha for hours, toured Doulton Dr, hehe, then went to Erin Mills, then went to Pickel Barrel....tiramisu not as good compared to demetres now....then I finally headed home and dropped dead....ZzZzzZz... Haven't been able to get any sleep throughout the week....can't sleep well when with someone =_=....now I'm all pooped out... I think it's about time I should go back to studying mode...=\ Don't think I'll be able to go to Waterloo and Guelph either now...=( And I want to go to a uniform party....hahahaha =P Ahhhh....I missed the Joey concert....=(
